VERTICS. Sleeves now also in SUP sports!
Originally, VERTICS. Sleeves for climbing and are finding an ever-increasing number of users there. But obviously many athletes from various other sports are also convinced of the effectiveness of the VERTICS. Sleeves.
This is also the case in paddle sports and especially in the area of SUP – Stand Up Paddling. This trend sport is easy to learn, you can do it at any time of the year, it is a full-body sport, suitable for all ages, you are out and about in nature and everyone can have fun at their personal level.

You stand on a large surfboard with a long paddle in your hands and just start paddling. Of course, you need some practice to survive the first attempts at standing on the board without falling into the water. But you learn very quickly to keep your balance and move across the water with calm paddle strokes. Since most SUP board manufacturers now offer “inflatables”, i.e. inflatable SUP boards, you can simply transport your board to the nearest SUP spot and inflate it to 1 bar pressure in a few minutes with a hand pump. Paddle in hand and off we go.

Even in winter you can go out on the water in a dry suit and with a little practice you won’t fall into the water anyway. At many bathing lakes and river banks you can rent SUP boards and get a taste of the sport before you buy your own board. At SUP Trip you can learn more about the basics.
But what do we have VERTICS. Sleeves to do with SUP? Well, SUPers also have to deal with hard forearms, i.e. arm pumps, on longer paddling trips or SUP competitions. Likewise, a little more endurance can’t hurt when SUP boarding and VERTICS. Sleeves help to keep up the race pace for longer. And our compression cuffs are ideal for regeneration anyway. Problems with the elbows or wrists can also be VERTICS. Sleeves contribute to faster healing.
More information and photos about VERTICS. Sleeves in SUP Sport can be found online in StandUp Magazine.
There are already many enthusiastic VERTICS. Sleeves fans among the SUP boarders, such as Linda Conrad from Berlin, who has lived in New Zealand for many years and prefers to fight for trophies with her SUP board off the coasts of New Zealand at every competition.

Here is your feedback:
My first experience wearing Vertics sleeves was FANTASTIC. The sleeves ensure good blood circulation, improve and prolong my forearm performance and protect me from the harsh sun, while having a nice cooling effect on hot days (just get it wet) or keep me warm on colder days. The product is inexpensive and comes in different color combinations that are fun and that go with any outfit or SUP board.
The fabrics themselves are very comfortable on my skin and I have not yet discovered any signs of wear on the sleeves after 2 months of use. I wear my sleeves, in preparation before the races, then during the races or training sessions and I use them regularly for my recovery. For me, wearing VERTICS. Sleeves made a difference and I will continue to wear them.
- Key benefit: prevent forearm pump – the feeling of no longer having a finger grip or force to hold the paddle
- Improvement of blood circulation
- Prolonged endurance
- Improved performance of the forearm. While most of the paddling forces in SUPing come from the back and shoulder muscles, we still use the forearms as well. Mine get exhausted quickly. VERTICS. Sleeves keep me in the race a little longer to keep up the important last few meters to the finish line
- Sun protection and cooling effect on hot days through humidification, on cold days they keep you warm
- May support recovery after racing or long training sessions
- I perform them before and during all my races
- May prevent ligament injuries
- I love the fabrics and the design, comfortable to wear
- No visible wear after a good 2 months of use
