Important information about sizes and colors of VERTICS. Sleeves
Your questions:
At the many VERTICS promotional events and by e-mail, the question arises again and again:
“Are the VERTICS. Sleeves actually color-coded regarding the compression strength? So, for example, the red sleeves have a stronger compression than the green ones?”
No! Each color combination is available in 3 sizes, I(S), II(M) and III(L) and the right size depends solely on the circumference of the forearm, measured at the thickest point.
Sizes and colors:
We determined our size divisions based on statistical evaluations and countless tests. For example, we have determined the compression strength with the best possible effect for each forearm. There is exactly one compression range and course in which the positive effects of the forearm compression sleeves come into their own.
If you find out when measuring that you are exactly between two sizes, choose the larger version. This is more comfortable to wear and works just as well as the smaller version. By the way, VERTICS. Sleeves even if yours is a little below the smallest or over the largest size.
By the way, sizes I, II and III are knitted into each sleeve on the inside of the upper, wide edge as line(s). The cuffs in size I are slightly shorter than II and III.

When “putting on” the sleeves, make sure that you don’t pull too hard. This only makes the sleeves longer and reaches above the elbow. It is better to “distribute” the sleeves evenly on the forearm so that they end at the elbow. If the sleeves are too long for very short forearms, simply fold over the top, wide edge or simply let it reach over the elbow.
Ours VERTICS. Sleeves in the test design are actually color-coded by size. Size I=green, size II=blue and size III=red. In this way, we make it easier to handle the issue of the right cuffs during our rental and test campaigns and in the VERTICS. Testbases in climbing halls.

And remember: in summer and when it is very warm, simply moisten the sleeves with water. Then the evaporation creates a pleasant cooling of the forearms. Read our blog post!
